(OOC: This takes place after all attendees are seated and have arrived, after the activities in the Arrivals thread, and in any order of presentations so it is not specific (mostly because no presenter is going back to back with himself/herself.))

Laughing to herself at introducing the presenter for the next award, Coquette took the stage once more. The jitters were gone from her face and body, she was no longer internally bitching about her gown, her shoes, or the stairs. The lights even ceased to bother her as they shone upon her face and showed the melt of her long-wear makeup or the sweat that dotted her brow. It was hot up there, under the lights, even for the eternally damned. Thankfully, her underarms were clear of moisture and she still smelled pretty damn fine, if she did say so herself.

This award had been won by someone she’d once been close to, and she’d often experienced the ’joys’ of being yanked back and forth emotionally by the prospect of him leaving, embracing death, only to see him return weeks later. She would probably have much more to say on the topic than the presenter, yet with a plastic smile plastered to her face to hide the incredibly amused one beneath, she addressed the presenter yet again.

“Again blackdragon rises to the stage to present the next award, to the vampire who simply could not make up their mind to the age old question. Should I stay or should I go? With so many things that both chase us from and call us to our fair city, please welcome blackdragon once more to the stage to present the award for Longest Goodbye.”

blackdragon took to the stage again, this time with some sadness. He faked a smile to the crowd and continued. “The award for the longest goodbye was pretty much a no brainer. This vampire left, came back, left, came back, left, came back in another form, left again. After a while it became hard to know if he was back and if he was, who he was. There are those that love him without question and there are those that hate him with a fiery passion. I myself am happy to call him brother and to except this award on his behalf, which I have turned into a bong in his honor. The winner of course is Daly.”

Abel de Novek busted through the door at the last second as he heard the award, and who the winner was. Of course it was him, he always wins the shitty awards, but it's whatever, he never cared anyway. Smirking, he just shook his head at blackdragon's statement, eyebrow raising as he heard the "came back, then left" a bit too much. Shaking his head, he marched his way up to the man and grumbled.

"I was only buried twice. The new math y'all are tryin' out sucks." he spoke out in an annoyed tone before he eyed the bong. "But that just looks amazing, mind if I pack some?" he grinned, staring at the award with a crazy shine in his eye. Or he just really wanted to smoke outta that thing.
